To provide essential supplies to teachers and kids in need in order to help bridge the educational opportunity gap that has been expanded by socioeconomic class.
We are a 501c3 that operates out of Washington, DC as a private charity.
Our core values are Compassion, Community, & Contribution (the three C's).
Compassion for the students, teachers, and communities that we serve is essential to understanding their needs and providing meaningful support.
We are committed to making meaningful contribution on the lives of students and teachers in underfunded areas. We hope to instill the value of giving back to communities and making a ripple effect of positive change.
We believe that creating positive change in education requires collaboration and partnership. We seek to build a strong community of support that strengthens and empowers our youth because our children are our future and sometimes, it takes more than a village.
Our Focus: More Than A Village Foundation focuses on kids facing the most significant barriers. We prioritize schools where 70 percent or more of the enrolled students are eligible for free or reduced-cost meals through the National School Lunch Program.
